For many years, ALALA Charity has worked alongside Maasai communities to help bring clean, reliable water to places where it is needed most.
Through the support of the Emaya community, Sip To Thrive has contributed towards the completion of a deep borehole — bringing clean, reliable water to a remote Maasai community in Tanzania.
Clean water transforms lives. It improves health. Creates opportunity. Strengthens communities. And makes the next chapter possible.

Water is only the beginning.
With access to clean water established, Sip To Thrive is now supporting the next stage of the journey — moringa cultivation using regenerative agroforestry practices that can improve nutrition, restore soil health and strengthen long-term food security.
This work has been directly funded by Emma, founder of Emaya Pure Life, as a personal investment in the community — working hand in hand with community leader Moses Laizar and local agricultural specialists on the ground.
Looking ahead, our vision is to develop a fair trade partnership — purchasing high-quality moringa grown by the community for use in selected Emaya Pure Life products.
Our hope is simple: to help create sustainable income while supporting Maasai communities to continue thriving on their ancestral land, preserving their culture, traditions and way of life.
RADICAL TRANSPARENCY
Real change takes time. Not everything goes perfectly.
Our first moringa planting experienced significant seedling losses. Rather than rushing ahead, we paused, listened to local expertise and adapted our approach.
